I like spicy Szechuan style food. China Wok isn't it. It is, however, fast and inexpensive take out that is fresh and generally tasty. I'm currently on the Atkins diet and order their boneless spareribs and/or beef teriyaki. They are always right on the money. The Kung Pao chicken isn't bad (though not the spot on Szechuan style I prefer) and General Gau (if you like the battered and then friend chicken variety) won't disappoint.

Good value for your dollar. Wonton soup isnt worth thr cheap price, but not the worst I've had. Dinner specials are the best deal. 2 apps and a main course and rice. Not a bad deal for a quick dinner. And food is always finished qyickly.

I have ordered takeout from here several times mainly because I live close by, but tonight was the last time. The food is very average at best. Heavy and greasy. The chicken dish I ordered had so much " filler " (onions), there was not much chicken in it ! Most of it ended up in the trash.

This place seems is not good and when I order my food we'll done they laugh and said it's all cooked well but when I got it was not and the place seem to be dirty yuck won't go back

I ordered lunch here today because I needed something fast and close by. I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special with a spring roll, and it was completely awful. Seriously, the worst take-out I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. I had a few bites just because I was so hungry and didn't have time to get anything else, but most of it ended up in the trash. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I have ordered from China Wok many times but I will NEVER order from them again after tonight (3/31). Our order was delivered ice cold and tasteless. When I called the restaurant to inform them about how our order was received I was told, "well, we had lot of order tonight so that why cold". When I told them that it was unacceptable and poor business practice to deliver cold food I was told, "well nothing we can do". When I told them that they lost my family as customers I was told, "oh well". There are many good Asian Cuisine restaurants in North Andover such as The China Blossom and Su Chen's...needless to say, those are the places where my family and I will be dining from here on out. The customer service at China Wok in North Andover was extremely unprofessional AT BEST!!!

Normally the food and buying experience are OK. The prices tend to be reasonable, food ranges from great to so-so depending on the entree. Chicken lo mein is good as are the chicken fingers, the spare ribs and teriaki tends to be overdone and dry. My last visit on New Years eve was a disaster. I know its busy but after being told 1 hour, I arrived 25 min early and had not received my food over 1 hr later. I left and went to China Blossom, and had my meal in 15 min (730 PM.) on News Years Eve. What was particularly irksome was the lady on the counter took 3-4 phone orders for every order she handed out...causing the orders to sit unreasonably after preparation. I will go back, eventually, but never on New Years Eve. Try for take out if local.

I confess: as an emotional eater, China Wok is my drug of choice. As Jessica said, it's "hot, inexpensive, tasty" Chinese food and better than most other inexpensive take out places in the area.
